About the Founder

Dr. Sharon Kwee is a scientist, businesswoman, violinist and pianist from San Antonio, TX. She has performed professionally with the Austin Symphony Orchestra, the San Antonio Philharmonic, Opera San Antonio, and has served as acting Concertmaster for Symphony Viva and chamber ensemble Sonido Barroco. As a soloist, she has performed with the San Antonio Symphony, Sonido Barroco, and the Youth Orchestras of San Antonio as a two-time winner of the YOSA Concerto Competition. In 2020 she competed in the Young Texas Artist competition, placing as a finalist. She has also been frequently requested as a masterclass clinician and judge for both local and statewide competitions.

Her doctorate degree was awarded in the field of Biomedical Engineering from two schools: The University of Texas at San Antonio and The UT Health Science Center of San Antonio for her research on nanomaterials and sensors. She has taught as a tenure-track professor and lecturer respectively for two schools: Northwest Vista College (biology), and The University of Texas at San Antonio (engineering, math), and currently works as a Medical Writer.
